APIC has negotiated with a number of hotels in order to offer you the most competitive conference rates. All conference hotels are conveniently located in Downtown Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is located approximately 10 miles from downtown Philadelphia. A one-way light rail ride costs $6.75 and taxi rides are flat rate of $29; please verify with a local taxi operator before your trip.

Official APIC Annual 2019 Housing Benefits
APIC has negotiated special rates and benefits for conference attendees at the following hotels. Not only are these hotels closest to the Philadelphia Convention Center, but APIC attendees benefit in several other ways:
- Significant discounts on standard guest room rates
- Flexible booking policies
- Simplified ability to make reservation changes, without penalties
- Lower overall costs; commissions you normally pay to travel sites go straight to the association, which lowers overall attendee conference costs
When you stay in APIC’s block of guest rooms, APIC is able to contract premier facilities such as the Philadelphia Convention Center while keeping registration costs low. Your support by booking your room within the APIC Annual 2019 guest room block is greatly appreciated.
Don’t Be Fooled! Hotel Reservation Scam Information
The APIC 2019 Philadelphia Housing Bureau is a part of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors’ Bureau (CVB). It is the ONLY official housing bureau for the APIC Annual Conference, and is handling all hotel reservations for the conference. Reservations may be accessed through our official link which will be posted in early December.
Any communications coming from the Philadelphia Housing Bureau will be from “@experient-inc.com” or identified as “APIC 2019 – Philadelphia Housing Bureau”. Emailed hotel reservation acknowledgments will be from Experient, the official housing provider for the Philadelphia Housing Bureau.
Please do not give your credit card information or make any reservations with any other housing bureau, housing company or convention housing/travel company appearing to represent Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Housing Bureau, APIC, and/or the APIC 2019 – Philadelphia Housing Bureau. These companies, frequently based out of Las Vegas and going by names such as Exposition Housing, Expo Housing Group, Convention Housing, et al., appear to offer lower rates for hotel rooms and are a SCAM. We are not able to verify the authenticity of such companies, and will not be able to provide resolution to issues related to such reservations.
Warning about unaffiliated hotels and third-party booking agencies
Please be aware that exhibitors often are solicited by unaffiliated hotels or third-party housing agencies to book hotel reservations. The APIC 2019 Annual Conference site is the only official booking website and any solicitations or communications regarding hotel bookings from non-APIC employees should not be considered valid. When APIC is notified of these solicitations, we immediately demand a cease and desist of such practices.
Here are some of the companies to watch out for:
- Convention Housing Authority
- Corporate Booking Services (CBS Inc)
- Events Plus Corporate
- Exhibitor Housing Management
- Exhibitor Housing Services
- Expo Housing Services
- Global Expo
- Global Expo Travel, Inc.
- Global Housing Services Corporation
- Global Travel Partners
- Hotel Roomerz
- International Events
- National Hotels Association/National Travel Associates
- Skyline Housing
Please report any unauthorized solicitations to Katie Kostiuk via email at email@example.com immediately.
These groups often advertise a lower rate than is promoted by APIC for the official APIC 2019 hotels. In some circumstances, these reservations have non-refundable or pre-payment requirements and harsh and unforgiving cancellation policies. In some cases, reservations do not even exist at the time of check-in at the booked hotel. For these reasons, and to support APIC official partners to ensure a quality experience, we encourage you to book your reservations through this website.
Please contact the APIC Annual Conference team with any questions or concerns regarding this issue.
